In 2010, we underwent a six-month process of collective reflection involving all teachers in ASU Writing Programs in the English Department in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in preparation for a visit from the WPA Consultant-Evaluator Service. The 2010 program self-study included in the primary documents companion, as well as the recommendations prepared by the WPA Consultant-Evaluators after their visit, helped us to establish a solid grounding for our work to develop the program over the next five years. Some of that development will be evident in a comparison of data in the initial self-study with data in this profile.
