Onondaga Community College Writing Program
One document that has been central to our program is a memo regarding our first bi-annual assessment. The memo was circulated to full and part time faculty who were selected for this assessment of student learning outcomes using a random sampling method. While somewhat dated, the memo and the accompanying documentation lays out the basic outline and rationale for our assessment method as it has evolved over the years. The paid scoring sessions and the data provided by these assessments have given us a foundation for professional and program development.
