Two documents were essential to the development of our current program, and I offer them as models for others. The first is a position description and rationale for the Postdoctoral Fellows in Writing, which I posted to WPA-L when they were approved in 2008. Although Drew no longer funds our program, I consider Post-doc lines to be more ethical than NTT lines, staffing key positions while providing WPA experience and mentoring in return. The second is an extract from the most recent application for the grant that funds the undergraduate course-embedded WAC Writing Fellows, on which our DSEM Writing Fellows are modeled.
